Charging Methods

There are 2 charging methods available for online merchants, “Authorize & Capture” and “Authorize Only”. Read the segment below to learn about the differences between them, and Rebillia’s supporting functionalities for both.

Note: The charging method you choose in Rebillia MUST be applied on the store’s settings as well.

Authorize & Capture

This method will authorize the shopper’s card and immediately start the settlement process, charging the card and transferring the amount between the accounts.

This charging method is recommended for stores that do not wish to review the orders prior to charging and shipping them to the customer. Rebillia fully supports this charging method with all regular and enhanced functionalities available with the app.

Authorize Only

This method will authorize the shopper’s card and put the order total amount on hold until the merchant chooses to capture the funds.

This charging method is recommended for stores that wish to review the orders prior to charging and shipping them to the customer. Furthermore, it is a good practice for stores that perform: pre-orders, net(x) orders and stores that work according to stock availability.

Rebillia fully supports this charging methods with all regular and enhanced functionalities it offers. Plus, Rebillia offers a “Bulk Charge” option for authorized transactions to allow the merchant to review, edit and charge multiple transactions at once, instead of going through them 1 by 1.
