Track the history of updates Rebillia releases to its app.

v5.22 - September 23, 2021.

We are happy to announce the release of Rebillia v5.22. This update has a little bit of everything.

FEATURED – “Prepaid” subscription functionality.

Although our software supported “Prepaid” subscriptions, it wasn’t as native and comprehensive as we wanted it to be – so our team developed a proper feature, complete with Auto renewal and an “Opt-out” button that keeps them active until the end of their prepaid period.

Update Details

Detailed below are all the changes in this update other than the featured one:

1. v3 “text field” option compatibility – Free text via an API is a security hazard. Our team standardized our ability to catch and post free text fields on subscriptions. It’s not perfect – but it’s better than nothing.

2. Search Autocomplete – We ditched the old jQuery library and built our own autocomplete.

3. Improved SQL performance – Optimizations to help transmit information faster.

4. Subscription “Start Date” indicator – Customers can now see the start date of their subscriptions in their “View Subscriptions” interface.

v5.21 - November 24, 2020.

We are happy to announce the release of Rebillia v5.21. This update is all about improving performance and gateway integrations.

FEATURED – “oAuth” Gateway Integrations

Our Braintree and Square integrations have just leveled up! No need for API keys anymore, just connect and permit access to Rebillia and you are done.

Update Details

Detailed below are all the changes in this update other than the featured one:

1. Square “Location ID” – Rebillia is now able to provide its own location ID in Square. Contact us if you want it.

2 Free order coupon- Customers can now subscribe even if they are paying $0 in the checkout! Rebillia will understand there is a subscription in the cart and ask the customer to add a card on file for subscription purposes

3. Store Credit Final Solution – As you know, BigCommerce does not provide API support for store credit. Our final solution has been implemented. If there is a subscription in the cart – Rebillia will notify the customer that store credit can not be used for this purchase. If there is no subscription in the cart, Rebillia will disconnect and let BigCommerce do the order.

4. Email Footer Bug – Fixed bug in email footer showing inconsistant contact information.

5. Authorize.NET Bug Fixes – Fixed intermittent issue with ability to refund transactions and malformed expiration date storage.

For more details, contact your account manager or Rebillia Support.

Update Details

Detailed below are all the changes in this update other than the featured one:

1. “Reports” section – Rebillia now offers 10 variations of exportable, date-ranged, reports to manage, track and anticipate your subscriptions.

2. Authorize.NET order response – With updates made to Authorize.NET’s APIs and responses, Rebillia was incorrectly applying “Declined” status on a subset of attempts made in the checkout page. That caused the cart to clean itself and the customer would not be able to complete the order. We cleaned those responses up and all is back to normal.

3. Google v3 reCaptcha Bot Protection – As part of the largest cooperation between BigCommerce and Rebillia, releasing updates to the Optimized checkout will be a recurring motive. Our current update features a brand new integration with Google’s reCaptcha system for bot protection.

v5.9 - Dec 21, 2019.
We are happy to announce the release of Rebillia v5.9. With this product update release, we introduce a new gateway integration with Square, a new add-on feature and a couple of performance updates with BigCommerce’s “Optimized one-page checkout” integration. As always, live sharescreen conferences to view and go over the new functionalities are available. Contact your account manager.

FEATURED – Subscription Auto-Grouping

Automatically assign and/or remove your subscribers to BigCommerce customer groups. This is a great feature to organize your customers, offer benefits such as store wide discounts/deals and even to be able to allow special access to hidden categories or external applications.

As always, Rebillia follows BigCommerce’s capabilities – and as there are limitations to the way we can work, this feature is not automatically enabled on your Rebillia account.

For more details, contact your account manager or Rebillia Support.

Update Details

Detailed below are all the changes in this update other than the featured one:

1. “Square” gateway integration – Rebillia is now fully compatible with Square as a payment method for card vaulting and subscriptions.

2. Authorize.NET order response – With updates made to Authorize.NET’s APIs, Rebillia is now able to work with further advanced filters available in the gateway. Now, Rebillia will be able to understand and properly act upon orders that Authorize.NET marked as “Held for Review”.

3. Optimized checkout improvements – As part of the largest cooperation between BigCommerce and Rebillia, releasing updates to the Optimized checkout will be a recurring motive. Our current update features two separate fields:

(a). Order Details – Sending customer API to order details and Filling up “Payment Method” in order details.
(b). Account Creation – BigCommerce notified us that their system can not create customer accounts to guests from API-based orders, so Rebillia took the action on itself.

v5.8 - Oct 14, 2019.

We are happy to announce the release of Rebillia v5.8. This product update release mostly enhances Rebillia’s capability to support merchants moving from one gateway to another without harming/stopping/delaying their currently active subscribers. Also included in this update is a checkout integration update.

FEATURED – Multi Gateway Capability

Although Rebillia can only be actively capturing new subscriptions into one gateway account, we are now able to operate several different gateways in the background. So if you are in need of switching a gateway account, Rebillia could keep charging already existing subscribers on the old gateway, while capturing and charging new customers in the new gateway (until, eventually, a full migration process is done between gateways).

Update Details

Detailed below are all the changes in this update other than the featured one:

1. Free order coupon discount in checkout – Some customers have raised a situation where they provide their customers with a 100% discount coupon, and then Rebillia can not capture the subscription ($0 order total does not require a credit card to process, so Rebillia does not engage). Now, Rebillia will understand to engage when an order total is $0 due to the effect of a coupon code and will be able to capture the subscription and the credit card, without issuing a charge at the moment of capture.

v5.7 - July 31, 2019.

We are happy to announce the release of Rebillia v5.7. With this product update release, we introduce the ability to manualy generate subscriptions from the back-end as well as a flexibility update to our “Retry System”.

FEATURED – Add Subscriptions From Back-end

Manually enter customers into a subscription without their need to complete an order or even be a part of the process. Fully control the product configuration, quantity, pricing and schedule for the customer’s subscription.

Update Details

Detailed below are all the changes in this update other than the featured one:

1. Configurable “Retry” Settings – Adjust your retry configurations per subscription product to select how many times would you like to retry, at what frequency and what should Rebillia do at the end of the process if the subscription still fails.

v5.6 - June 04, 2019.

We are happy to announce the release of Rebillia v5.6. With this product update release, we introduce our “Optimized one-page checkout” integration, two new add-on features and the ability to resubscribe a cancelled subscription.

NOTE – The release of the new checkout integration requires re-signing your BigCommerce app agreement with Rebillia. Just log in to the app and you will see it. No harm or downtime is caused by that to your app’s performance on the store.

As always, live sharescreen conferences to view and go over the new functionalities are available. Contact your account manager.

FEATURED -“Optimized one-page checkout” integration

This is one of our biggest cooperation updates with BigCommerce to date, and one that has been on a lot of wish lists for almost 2 years. Due to the complexity of this checkout page, integrating with it is no easy task, requiring 2-3 days of development – thus this checkout integration does not come built-in and carries an implementation fee.

For more details on this integration, contact your account manager.

Update Details

Detailed below are all the changes in this update other than the featured one:

1. Retry System – By enabling this feature on your store, you will be able to control and configure each subscription product to try charging unsuccessful subscriptions again, following your rule sets.

2. Advanced Customer Details – By enabling this feature on your store, you will get in depth information about every customer’s subscription. Rebillia will record every action taken on the subscription (subscription edited, delivery skipped, subscription cancelled etc..) as well as group all timelines (transactions, upcoming deliveries etc..) together in one interface.

3. Activate Cancelled Subscriptions – From now on, when a customer unsubscribes, they won’t disappear from your system anymore. You will still be able to see them in your Rebillia app, with a status “Cancelled”. This gives you, the merchant, the ability to re-activate cancelled subscriptions for your customers instead of having them purchase a new subscription altogether.

v5.5 - April 09, 2019.

We are happy to announce the release of Rebillia v5.5. This product release focused on back-end integration pieces between BigCommerce and Rebillia, to enhance usability and streamlining information.

FEATURED – Order Status Customization

Rebillia allows the merchant to select which order status should apply on which type of order that Rebillia processed. This allows merchants to provide better visibility and clarity to their customers as well as helps merchants to separate subscription orders from regular orders.

Update Details

Detailed below are all the changes in this update other than the featured one:

1. New “Error” status filter – In order to easily track failed subscription transactions on your store, Rebillia has created a unique filter in our “Transactions” section to allow merchants to view those, and their error messages, directly.

2. Product “Sync” button – With product images and prices changing every once in a while, we need to make sure the subscription details are staying up to date (for the emails Rebillia sends on subscription). By clicking the “Sync” button in the app, Rebillia will update the product’s images and pricing in its database.

v5.4 - Jan 23, 2019.

We are happy to announce the release of Rebillia v5.4. With this product update release, we have enhanced the user experiecne and control, Authorize.NET fraud management tool and applied a bug fix.

FEATURED – “Edit Subscription Details”

Rebillia now allows your customers to edit every aspect of their own subscription! They can change Sizes, Colors or any type of option you offer on your products, as well as change their frequency, product quantity & next charge date on their subscriptions.

Also, we have made sure our system will automatically sync up with your BigCommerce product rules systems to make sure we display the new price of the subscription to the customer, and apply it correctly to the subscription itself.

Just like all other Customer Control Panel functionalities, this one can also be toggled on/off from Rebillia’s back-end settings. To not interfere with your current system, this feature is Toggled OFF by default.

Update Details

Detailed below are all the changes in this update other than the featured one:

1. Authorize.NET fraud tool – Rebillia now sends custmer orders to Authorize.NET with the customers’ IP address instead of Rebillia’s. This will allow you to block suspecious customers by their IP directly from Authorize.NET. Note that all subscription transactions will still be sent over using Rebillia’s IP.

2. Subscription page pagination – Customers were experiencing issues scrolling through their subscription products (in the back-end of Rebillia) using the pagination system. We have patched this bug.

v5.3 - Jan 02, 2019.

Also, as part of our new “Search & Filter” mechanism, Rebillia will now show all customer records that are stored in our system. That means that you will be able to find customers in the app even if they don’t yet have a subscription.
