This documentation page will cover all functionality for managing your customers’ active subscription plans directly from the Rebillia management interfaces.
Navigation
There are multiple ways to get into a customer’s plan. You can search for it directly in the “Subscriptions” section, navigate to it from the customer’s account page, or refer to it from an invoice. When landing in a customer’s plan page, you will be presented with the following sub-navigation pages: Rate Plans, Invoices, Activity, Shipping, Billing, Upcoming Charges, and External Orders.
Follow the page to understand each page, the information it holds and the actions you can take in them.
Rate Plans
This page will display all of the Rate Plans that are associated with the same subscription bag. Here, you can manage each Rate Plan, and their internal Rate Plan Charges (by expanding the “(x) Charges” accordion), to do the following:
Rate Plan Management
- Add Charge – By clicking on the equalizer button on the Rate Plan record, and selecting this option, you can create a new charge item for this specific plan. This gives you the ability to customize a customer’s plan, without affecting the original plan that is attached to the product.
- Cancel Plan – By clicking on the equalizer button on the Rate Plan record, and selecting this option, you can cancel the plan, and all of its charge items, churning the plan from your list of active plans and stopping any future billing for it.
- Plan History – By clicking on the equalizer button on the Rate Plan record, and selecting this option, you will be redirected to a page that tracks the history of changes made on this plan.
- Switch Plan – By clicking on the equalizer button on the Rate Plan record, and selecting this option, you will be able to switch this customer’s plan with another plan provided on the same product.
- Bulk Publish/Disable: By selecting the desired rate plans using the checkboxes, you can execute publish or disable commands for multiple plans simultaneously, streamlining the process.
Rate Plan Charge Management
- Edit Charge – By clicking on the equalizer button on the Rate Plan record, and selecting this option, you will be able to edit the charge details, like schedule, end condition, price, tax settings etc..
- End Charge – By clicking on the equalizer button on the Rate Plan record, and selecting this option, you will be able to stop this specific charge from running on recurring billing, without affecting the rest of the plan.
- Manage Linked Product – By clicking on the link presented under the “SALE CHANNEL” column, you will be able to link an external product to this charge, edit the details of an existing linked product (variants/modifiers/price/quantity), or remove an existing linked product.
Invoices
This page will display all of the invoices that are associated with this subscription bag, review total charges, each invoice details and their current status.
Activity
This page will log every change log event that happens on this subscription bag. Each log record will be accompanied by a status, a timestamp of the event, a short description of the event, and a link to view detailed information about the event.
Billing & Shipping
These pages will display the current billing address, credit card, shipping address and shipping method that are associated with this subscription bag, as well as allow you to edit/change them.
Upcoming Charges
This page will gather and visualize the schedule of all charges in this subscription bag, grouped by charge date. Each upcoming charge record will allow you to:
- View Charge List – By expending the upcoming charge record, you will be able to see all of the rate plans and charges that will take place within this record.
- Skip Charge – By clicking on the equalizer button on the Rate Plan record, and selecting this option, you will be able to remove this charge record from the upcoming charge list, essentially skipping this charge cycle in the subscription lifecycle.
- Change Billing/Shipping Information – By clicking on the equalizer button on the Rate Plan record, and selecting this option, you will be able to apply different billing/shipping information for this specific upcoming charge record, without affecting the other upcoming charge records.
- Notify Customer – By clicking on the equalizer button on the Rate Plan record, and selecting this option, the “Charge reminder” email will be triggered to be sent to the customer.
- Charge Now – By clicking on the equalizer button on the Rate Plan record, and selecting this option, you will be able to expedite this specific upcoming charge record and issue an immediate invoice and charge towards the subscription. Using this feature will “consume” the upcoming charge record and Rebillia will not replace it with a new one. Use this feature carefully.
External Orders
This page will display all of the integration based actions Rebillia has taken for this subscription. Actions like Tax calculation, shipping quotes, creating orders in an external eCommerce platform or OMS, are all going to be included in this interface and will allow you to track the flow of information from Rebillia outwards.
