https://admin.rebillia.com/main/subscriptions/list

Dashboard

Navigating to the “Subscriptions” interface, the dashboard will provide an overview of all subscription plans registered in Rebillia. In this interface, you will be able to quickly, and visually, identify which subscription plan belongs to which customer, sale channel, its creation date, last charge date, next charge date and further information like payment methods and attached addresses.

Each item in each subscription plan record could be further interacted with, and even followed through directly to the item’s detail page.

Search & Filter

To provide extra comfort in searching for specific data cases, Rebillia offers two forms of data tracking – Search and Filter. These methods are stackable, meaning you can filter the view and then issue a search on top of it and vise versa.

Searching for subscription plans can be done using the fields Subscription NameCustomer Name, and Customer Email.

Applying filters can be done by selecting the filter icon on the top-left of the data table and selecting one of the existing, or creating a new, filter(s). By default, Rebillia provides the following pre-created filters:

  1. All Subscriptions – The default view that will show all subscription plans, disregarding their status.
  2. Charged Today – Show only subscription plans that have had a charge today.
  3. Activations Today – Show only subscription plans that have been activated today.
  4. Activations Yesterday – Show only subscription plans that have been activated yesterday.
  5. Activations This Week – Show only subscription plans that have been activated this week.
  6. Subscriptions with Errors Today – Show only subscription plans that have an “Error” today.
  7. All Subscriptions with Errors – Show all subscription plans that are currently in status “Error”.

Creating your own filter is very simple. To learn more about creating and managing filters, visit our “Data Grid Filters” documentation page.

Creating a Subscription Plan

There are several ways subscription plans are created in Rebillia. When connecting Rebillia to a sale channel, or working with Rebillia’s hosted pages, Rebillia will automatically create subscription plans every time a customer completes a checkout process.

Company staff members can also create accounts directly from the system interfaces by navigating to the “Subscriptions” section and clicking the “New Subscription” button on the top-right corner of the screen. To create a subscription, the user will be required to follow the interface steps:

  1. Select a Customer Account – Search for the customer account that this subscription should be assigned to. New accounts Can not be created during this process, so make sure the account exists before starting.
  2. Select a Product & Plan – Search for the product from the Rebillia product catalog and select the Rate Plan you want to apply to this subscription.
  3. Configure Charges – Once the Rate Plan is selected, all Rate Plan Charges will show as line items and allow to be both edited and/or deleted from the plan.
  4. Shipping – For subscriptions containing physical products, and that are not marked for free shipping – Rebillia will display all active shipping methods that are available in Rebillia’s “Static Shipping Quotes” section.
  5. Payment – Select the currency and payment method to assign to this subscription. If there are no available payment methods on file, adding a new card on file as well as requesting the customer to enter a new payment method are selectable options.
  6. Summary – Select the start date for the subscription.

Plans & Charges

“Subscriptions Plans” and “Product Rate Plans” are two sides of the same entity. While the “Product Rate Plan” is the passive, ready to be purchased, plan offer, the “Subscription Plan” is the active, come to life, recurring plan.

As we saw in the previous section, creating a subscription plan will utilize existing Rate Plans available in the product. All actions available on the “Rate Plans” and the “Rate Plan Charges” are available for “Subscription Plans” and “Subscription Charges” respectively and are covered in full in their documentation pages (linked above).

Note! – There is only one functionality that is different between the two – Start condition. While in the “Rate Plan Charge” the scheduling is global (i.e. “Immediately” or “Delay by 2 cycles”), the “Subscription Charge” allows setting a specific, calendar, date.

Billing & Shipping

A subscription plan does not have its own billing and shipping information, rather – the information belongs to the subscription bag this subscription plan is a part of. For full details, follow our “Subscription Bags” documentation page.

Subscription Statuses

A subscription’s status will get updated according to the last action applied to the subscription. The table below describes each status available for a subscription, as well as what it can and can not do and what are the conditions to be able to apply such status:
